At Cosmedica Skin we use a premium Hyaluronic acid based lip filler which will provide an excellent natural looking aesthetic outcome.

Prior to the treatment we apply a local anaesthetic cream to help numb the lips for 15-20mins beforehand thus minimising discomfort during the treatment. The premium Hyaluronic acid based lip filler we use also contains a local anaesthetic which will minimise discomfort during the treatment.

There is normally no downtime and you can return to work and carry out normal activities straight away. Dr Ricky will explain the relevant aftercare post the procedure to ensure a sustained excellent outcome. Sometimes post lip filler treatment there can be some mild swelling/bruising that can occur which will settle down in a few days.

The results are immediate but the end result is seen after 2 weeks once the post treatment swelling has settled down.

Given we use a premium based Hyaluronic acid based filler results can last from 6-12 months for some people this may be longer.
